چکیده
The dynamic behavior of droplet impingement is one the most important processes spray cooling. Although refrigerants with a low boiling point have been widely used in cooling, their high volatility makes it difficult to generate stable under atmospheric pressure, and thus rarely reported. Therefore, great significance study refrigerant fill relevant research gaps. In this paper, an experimental system for single generation at pressure has established. By means high-speed photography technology, morphology dynamics R1336mzz(Z) on grooved carbon steel walls studied. Phenomena such as truncated sphere, boiling, finger-shaped disturbance were observed, reasons responsible them analyzed. effects Weber number (We) surface roughness (Ra) spreading factor (β) investigated quantitatively. Nozzle Plume Impingement on Spacecraft Surfaces: Effects of Surface Roughness
An experimental and numerical effort was undertaken to assess the effects of a cold gas (To=300K) nozzle plume impinging on a simulated spacecraft surface. The nozzle flow impingement is investigated experimentally using a nano-Newton resolution force balance and numerically using the Direct Simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) numerical technique. The Reynolds number range investigated in this study ...

A study of nucleate boiling phenomena on nano/microstructures is a very basic and useful study with a view to the potential application of modified surfaces as heating surfaces in a number of fields. We present a detailed study of boiling experiments on fabricated nano/microstructured surfaces used as heating surfaces under atmospheric conditions, employing identical nanostructures with two dif...

15 صفحه اولINITIATION OF CaSO4 SCALE FORMATION ON HEAT TRANSFER SURFACES UNDER POOL BOILING CONDITIONS
The success of innovative fouling mitigation techniques such as ion implantation depends upon early stage of scale formation on heat transfer surface. This is because the first crystalline nuclei that appear on the surface during the initial period dictate how fouling would develop in latter stages. In this study, the initial period of deposition of calcium sulphate on heat transfer surfaces ha...
متن کاملMolecular dynamics simulations of nanodroplet spreading on solid surfaces, effect of droplet size
Abstract Molecular dynamics simulations were performed to study the spreading characteristics of nano-sized droplets on solid surfaces. The spreading behavior was analyzed in terms of the temporal evolution of the dynamic contact angle and spreading diameter for wettable, partially wettable and nonwettable surfaces. The computational model was validated through qualitative comparison with the m...
